FROM THE ARTIST:

Amabie was said to ward off pandemics and bring a good harvest. I felt I must recreate its image to show to people. I’ve never seen it with my eyes so I tried to make it true to it's tradition. For the ambiguous parts, I went back to cultural DNA and RNA inherited from ancient times. I am confident my Amabie is very close to the original.
